You have the right to permanently delete your HCI account and all associated personal data. This page explains how to request deletion and exactly what data will be removed.

Permanent Action
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, all your academic records, attendance history, and personal data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered. Please make sure you want to proceed before submitting a request.
We aim to respond to all deletion requests within 7 business days (Monday–Saturday, 9am–6pm IST) to confirm receipt and begin the identity verification process.
Once your identity is verified, the actual data deletion is completed within 30 days as required by applicable data protection regulations. You will receive a final confirmation email once deletion is complete.

How to Delete Your Account
Send Deletion Request
Email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include your full name, registered mobile number, and center name in the email body.
Identity Verification
We will verify your identity to ensure the deletion request is genuine. This protects student accounts from being deleted by unauthorised parties.
Processing (Up to 30 Days)
Once verified, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when complete.
Data Removed
All profile data, academic records, and personal information are permanently removed from the institute's server. This action cannot be undone.

- Student profile (name, class, roll number)
- Login credentials (username and password hash)
- Attendance records
- Homework and assignment data
- Leave application history
- Fee records and payment history
- Report card data
- Push notification token
- Device session data
Not Affected
- Center's own administrative offline records (managed directly by the HCI center, not the App)
Retention period: All data is permanently deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
Common Questions
Can I delete my own account from within the app?
Currently, to ensure the highest level of security and prevent accidental data loss, all deletion requests must be initiated via email verification.
Can a parent request deletion on behalf of their child?
Yes. A parent can submit the deletion request from their email. Our support team will verify the request with the registered parent/student phone number before proceeding.
What happens to my data after deletion?
All your personal data, including your profile, attendance, and fee history, are permanently wiped from the HCI App servers within 30 days and cannot be recovered.
Can the school administrator delete my account?
Center heads and administrators can deactivate your access to the app. However, a full, permanent wipe of your data from our cloud servers requires an explicit request from you or your parent.
Will deletion affect other students or the school?
No. Account deletion only removes your specific personal data. General center analytics and batch records remain unaffected.
What if I just want to stop using the app without deleting my account?
You can simply log out and uninstall the application from your device. Your data will remain securely saved on our servers in case you resume your course in the future.
