Refund & Cancellation Policy

Transparent financial guidelines for Students, Parents, and Authorized Training Centers (ATCs).

Effective Date: July 15, 2023

Financial Policy Overview

At Hindustan Computer Institute (HCI), we strive to provide the highest quality of education and infrastructure. To maintain our standards and operational efficiency, we adhere to a strict financial policy regarding course fees and franchise licensing fees. We urge all applicants to review these terms carefully before making any payments.

For Students & Parents

No Refund Policy

As clearly stated in our prospectus and admission forms, fees once paid are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances. This applies to Admission Fees, Monthly Installments, and Examination Fees.

Non-Transferable

Fees paid for a specific student cannot be transferred to another student, friend, or family member. However, a student may request to transfer to a different batch within the same course, subject to seat availability and management approval.

Late Fee & Cancellation

Failure to pay monthly installments by the due date (10th of every month) will attract a late fee. Continuous non-payment for more than 30 days may result in cancellation of registration without refund.

For Franchisees & ATCs

This section applies to all Authorized Training Centers (ATCs) and Franchise partners of Hindustan Computer Institute.

Franchise License Fee

The initial Franchise/Authorization License Fee is non-refundable and non-adjustable. Once the authorization letter or agreement is signed/issued, no claim for a refund will be entertained under any circumstances.

Royalty & Student Registration

Fees paid by the ATC to the Head Office for student registration, examination, or certification are strictly non-refundable. If an ATC decides to terminate the agreement, any pending dues must be cleared immediately.

Termination & Breach

In case of a breach of contract, unethical practices, or violation of HCI standards, the Head Office reserves the right to cancel the franchise agreement immediately without refunding any fees paid.

Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds may only be considered in the extremely rare event that Hindustan Computer Institute cancels a course entirely before its commencement due to unforeseen circumstances. In such a specific case, the full fee paid by the student will be refunded within 15 working days. This does not apply to course postponements or changes in batch timings.
