Critical issues (like app crashes or fee payment failures) are prioritized and usually resolved within 24-48 hours. Minor UI glitches are typically fixed in the next scheduled app update.
2. How do I attach screenshots or a screen recording?
Currently, you can email screenshots or videos directly to [email protected]. Please mention your full name and the phone number used in this bug report in your email subject.
3. What if the bug is preventing me from marking attendance right now?
If you are facing an urgent issue that stops your daily center activities, please submit the form with severity marked as "Critical" and immediately contact us via the WhatsApp support button on the bottom right of this screen.
4. Can I track the status of my bug report?
Yes. Once your ticket is reviewed by our engineering team, you will receive an email or SMS update regarding its status. We will also notify you when the fix goes live.
5. Do I need to update my app after a bug is fixed?
In most cases, yes. While server-side bugs fix themselves automatically, app-specific glitches usually require you to download the latest version of the HCI App from the Google Play Store to see the applied fixes.
6. My password isn't working. Is this a bug?
Not necessarily. First, try using the "Forgot Password" feature on the app's login screen. If you still cannot log in, or if the app crashes during the login process, please submit a report under the "Login / Authentication" category.
7. The study material won't download. What should I do?
First, check your internet connection and ensure the app has storage permissions enabled in your phone settings. If it still fails, submit a bug report under the "Study Material" category, noting which specific document you are trying to access.
